Laziness rules!
November 1, 2008 – 19:29I’m basically a lazy person. I don’t like to expend effort unless:
a. I have to.
b. I get immediate results.
So I have been pretty lax on the blog lately.
Lots and lots of things have been happening. The biggest is that I finally took the plunge and rented a rather large office space in beautiful downtown Pittsfield, IL. It used to be a doctors office so it’s somewhat cut up into small offices that I am utilizing for various things. I’m still cleaning the old stuff up and out.
It IS an old building, but I think it will work for my purpose. Which is, basically to maintain my web presence consulting business while expanding back into computer repair. Used computer and equipment sales seems to be a great way to expand at this point.
Caveat: Make sure that used equipment customers understand used equipment is just that, and carries no warranty, period. It worked when I set it up and cleaned it, after it leaves the shop it’s GONE, I offer no support, and not a lick of warranty. If you want equipment with support and warranty, then buy something new and non-discount.
